LEETON U3A

U3A (University of the Third Age) is a non-profit, international organisation. Its mission is to facilitate lifelong learning for those who have retired / semi-retired (the “third age”), providing a friendly, social and informal environment that is non-sectarian, non-political and is open to anyone. Prior educational qualifications are not necessary and there are no exams or assessments.

We are a member-led organisation, creating opportunities to:
• share our ideas, knowledge and experience in a friendly atmosphere
• learn, laugh, and get the most out of life
• meet up with old friends and make new ones
• be part of a community U3A

U3A provides a variety of interesting and fun activities for those interested in keeping their minds and bodies active. Whether you want to learn about new subjects, keep fit or meet new people, U3A has something to offer.
Activities are offered on a four term basis and include:
• Weekly talks
• Exercise classes (e.g. Balance 'n' Bones)
• Excursions to places of interest

Leeton U3A

Leeton U3A is the local U3A club for residents of Leeton and surrounding areas.
The club is run entirely by volunteers with an elected Committee that coordinates club activities and operations.
In general, our members are semi retired/retired from a diverse range of backgrounds who bring an array of knowledge and skills to the club. Many of our courses and talks are conducted by our members.
